Known as the ‘career university’, the University of West London (UWL) has an impressive graduate employment rate, with courses specifically designed to enable students to secure work after leaving.
Studying at UWL is all about gaining the skills, expertise and insight you need to excel in your chosen career. Over a three-year period, the University has embarked on a £150million redevelopment project to enhance students’ social and learning experiences thereby maintaining their position as a leading modern university in London. The University offer a range of options; from university-managed shared flats and houses at the Student Village which is a short walk from South Ealing Station; or they can help you find accommodation off campus in Ealing and the surrounding area; or if you choose to rent your accommodation privately, UWL have put together resources for you to make sure where you are renting is safe.
If you are studying at the Berkshire Institute for Health in Reading, the University have strong links with local student accommodation providers, so you can feel safe in the knowledge that your home has our stamp of approval.
The Ealing site of the West London Campus has superb facilities including the Paul Hamlyn Library, a student radio station, an auditorium, music studios, industry-standard labs, mock court room, restaurants and cafés, and a sports centre.
The Brentford site is home to the Nursing Simulation Centre, which is only a short distance from Ealing and easily accessible on the free shuttle bus. The Berkshire Institute for Health, at Fountain House in Reading town centre, enables UWL to deliver nursing and midwifery programmes across the region in partnership with the NHS.
