The UK Government has confirmed that international students will remain eligible for the two-year post-study work visa after graduation if they begin or continue their studies online in the 2020/21 academic year.
This means that international students will still be eligible to access the new graduate immigration route, announced in September 2019, as long as they are in the UK by April 6 and complete the final semester of their studies in the UK.
This follows comments from Jo Johnson, the former universities minister, who recommended the implementation of a four-year post-study UK work visa as a tactic to help UK higher education overcome the effects of Coronavirus and Brexit.
If you are interested in studying in the UK, arrange a free consultation with SI-UK Nairobi or Mombasa today. Our team is hard at work helping thousands of international students apply to study in the UK ahead of September 2020 entry and you can join them.
SI-UK's service is fast, reliable and efficient. Their consultants are specialists, working closely with all UK universities and, through my consultants' advice and application assistance, I was able to receive offers from my favoured universities.
